Our dedicated staff are committed to ensuring our actions are guided by our vision and our motto of “Every Child, Every Day, Whatever It Takes”. The Spring Valley family values parent involvement as an important component of our school and we feel that it contributes greatly to the overall success of our students. The Kansas State Department of Education announced on Monday that Spring Valley Elementary first grade teacher Denise Acosta and Junction City High School audio and video teacher Easton Lager were both named 2024-25 Kansas Horizon Award honorees.

With the winter weather in the area overnight, USD 475 will remain closed on Friday, Jan. 10. All activities have been canceled.
For the safety of our students and staff, Geary County Schools USD 475 schools will remain closed on Thursday, Jan. 9. All athletic and after-school activities have been canceled.

It was truly a day to remember in Geary County Schools USD 475 on Wednesday as 17 H.D. Karns Innovations Academy USD 475 students were recognized for completing their graduation requirements.
